  This is Doss’ 16th book featuring part-time tribal investigator & Colorado Rancher, Charlie Moon.  When Colorado rancher and part-time tribal investigator Charlie Moon gets a call from Wanda Naranjo, she’s panicked. Not  only is her sink leaking, which Moon graciously fixes, but her sixteen-year-old daughter, Betty, has gone missing.  And that’s not all. Betty claimed to be going to see a school counselor on what turned out to be his day off. So was she running away or was she abducted? Moon’s best friend, Granite Creek Chief of Police Scott Parris, doesn’t believe any of it and suspects that Wanda tricked them into doing a little emergency plumbing. While it’s enough to make Parris’s blood boil, Moon can’t shake the feeling that some other foul play might be at work.

Murder by the Book is an independent Mystery Bookstore in Denver, Colorado specializing in murder mystery books and crime fiction. A longstanding (since 1980) mystery bookseller in the Colorado Front Range community, we sell mysteries in both hardback and paperback, new and used books, as well as host author book signings for signed 1st editions.

Bi-Monthly Mystery Books Newsletter

We list the books to be received in the next 2 months in our free mystery book newsletter. Our newsletters also contain book reviews, book signings, special issues, rare books, used books, readers group information, etc. The book reviews cover the books that are coming out in the next 2 months, and historical online book reviews are listed also. If you provide us with your email address in the box at the top-right of all pages in the site we will email the newsletters to you every other month.
